Spirit Animal - Pika Visits

image

The Pika lives in the mountains and is known by many names including, “Rocky Mountain Pika, Southern Pika, Rock Rabbit, Piping Hare, Hay-maker, Mouse-hare, Whistling Hare, and Cony”.  The name is pronounced “pk” as shown by the www.thefreedictionary.com

Pika popped into my meditation because it wanted to introduce itself.  It says that very few people outside of those living in the Rocky Mountains, know of its existence.  Pika would like to tell every one that even though you haven’t seen it, it does exist.  And if it can exist for so long without you or anyone else you know seeing it, then imagine how many things exist in this world that you deny because you or someone else has not seen it.  Do not let others govern your beliefs.  Do the investigating yourself so that you can be sure of what does or does not exist.

Pika goes on to say that although it is very small, it carries out an import environmental task; it grooms the mountains and mountain meadows.  The lesson is that you do not have to be large to do important and good work.  Pika watches the bumble bees in the meadows and sees how small the bee is and all the good work that a bee does.

Pika is a little animal who would like to work with you.  Invite her in when you meditate and get to know her.

  3. Pika has come to me on more than one occasion...it's taken me quite some time to finally acknowledge it as my spirit animal and finding this post after having done so, and it having confirmed everything I've sensed about my life journey so far and what Pika means to me, words cannot express how it makes me feel. I was quite emotional reading it. Thank you so much.

Thanks for reading this blog post. Sharing is good if it is kind and either has questions or tells about an experience.

Blessings,
