Hubble Offers a Dazzling View of the 'Necklace' Nebula
A giant cosmic necklace glows brightly in this NASA Hubble Space Telescope image. The object, aptly named the Necklace Nebula, is a recently discovered planetary nebula, the glowing remains of an ordinary, Sun-like star. The nebula consists of a bright ring, measuring 12 trillion miles across, dotted with dense, bright knots of gas that resemble diamonds in a necklace. The knots glow brightly due to absorption of ultraviolet light from the central stars. http://hubblesite.org/newscenter/archive/releases/2011/24/
Sometimes, you see a picture and and it captures your heart. In your soul, you know that you have been “out there” before, and you recognize the shapes from some place deep within your memory. When I saw this picture, it triggered a longing so intense that I felt swept away. My Soul memory is telling me that I (and perhaps, we,) walked with Creator and were part of the making of this phenomenon or one like it.

It makes me think that Freya's necklace "Brisingamen" in Celtic "Myth and Legend" is no myth @ all. But that our ancestors knew about this nebula & other galaxies & constellations long ago in the ancient past...before our modern day scientists were a twinkling in Adams eye ;)
