This is a picture of a juniper tree on the top of the ledge overlooking Montezuma Well. Why this is interesting to me is that this tree, which normally grows straight, shows the strength of the energy in this area when this tree was a baby. In the picture below, you can see where I have circled the twists in the trunk of the tree caused by the energy spirals.
The trees growing in that area now are not spiralled. The energy has diminished. At the time of the Sinagua People, the vortex energy or spiral energy, indicated abundance because all things would grow beautifully with the rush of energy from the Earth, and with the vast amount of warm water available from the Well. Although this tree was alive and well, (no pun intended), many of the twisted trees were either dead or dying.
These trees make me think of the Sumi whirling dervishes in Pakistan. Some twirling is beneficial and causes the body to be more immune and therefore, healthier. However, when the twirling continues too long, it eventually burns the human body out, and the person dies.
The lesson here, is that anything done to excess is harmful….
