Our apple tree by Judy Hirst-Joyeux Sept 2009
The apples have been picked, and now allowed to sweeten.
All the leaves are turning as the frost and snow creeps over the land.
The carrots, though were rescued and scrubbed and clipped and stored.

Those tomatoes that weren’t picked, were moved into the house.

And even all the cabbages, who stood in line all year so beautifully are now tucked away in the dark to sweeten.

And now, we give thanks this day. We are grateful for the bounty. We know that all we have is a gift from Creator, and we give back all we have to Creator as we share with others. May all beings walk with blessings this day.
Happy Thanksgiving!
