Today is Sunday, and the beginning of the week.  I wondered what the message was that I needed to hear today.  Very strongly, the message is “get out of your mind”!  This seems quite appropriate as I have been doing consulting work again, and during that time, one must be ever in the intellect.  However, I know that most often, we need not be in the mind.  The stories of the past and the projections of the future are not real, just as most of what we observe around us is not real.  I always laugh when people bring me back to their reality by saying, “Come back to the real world.” 

For me, real is what I experience in each moment – the quiet joy of just sitting and seeing the birds at the bird feeder, and the joy inside me because they are there, singing and being content.  I see the people around me in the airport when I travel, and I see discontent.  They are going to a warmer place, to a place with better golf courses, to see family so they can feel better….  It really is all an illusion because our world has been created perfectly for each of us.

We have what we need, and all that we need.
