In sales and marketing workshops or training classes that I have participated in, this quote is often used.
“Every morning in Africa, a Gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest Cheetah or it will be killed. Every morning a Cheetah wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest Gazelle or it will starve to death. It doesn't matter whether you are a Cheetah or a Gazelle... when the sun comes up, you'd better be running.” ~Anonymous
So, when I saw the following set of pictures that my friend Marilyn sent me, I paused, and then laughed! Here again the animals are teaching us that one does not always have to dominate by hunting and killing. In fact, the new way of life that has been envisioned by mystics, is a life of cooperation and friendliness as a contrast to the competitiveness and hostility found in most of the world.
What do you make of these pictures?
