We were sitting on the deck this afternoon when Blue Jay popped onto a branch of the fir tree next to us, and leaned over to chat.
He was telling us to get prepared for an early winter. He reminded me that I should buy more bird seed. He said that he was grateful for the food that I put out. And, he was grateful for all that we did for the birds and small animals.
Blue Jay went on to say that he and his kind were not always the kindest to their feathered kin. He offered that we were always kind.
I thanked him.
Blessings,
Judy
