This picture arrived in an email and it made me sad. We see the sun in so many negative, destructive ways. And yet, here it is! Beautiful! Exciting! And full of the promise of the beginning of everything! What a gift the sun gives to us each day.
When you see the world from a different perspective, and it looks small- one needs to realize how completely insignificant we are, and yet how absolutely necessary we all are, as well. If we did not exist, we would not see the beauty in the world and want to share it with our village, our global village. If we did not exist, we would not celebrate the animals and their lives. We would not have found that one can learn from cats and dogs, and all of the wild things, that there is a present moment.
We would not know about life flowing and ebbing, and rising slowly from the ground, up to the sky, to touch the sun.
