Happy New Year 2019 and Farewell

image

A very Happy New Year wish to each of you!  2018 has been an fascinating year of changes around the world.  Truth is coming to the forefront.  The movement to protect women and children is gaining momentum.  Around the world, ordinary people are revolting against corruption and dictatorships.  Life is changing.

As part of my change for the next year, I am taking a year off from blogging on Judy's Angels and Ancestors blog.  I thank each of you for your views and for your comments.  I will leave the blog active at least until June 2019 so you can still send me comments and share your thoughts.

Many blessings

Being The Light

image

During the winter, up to the Winter Solstice, the daylight hours get shorter, and the night is long.  We look to those around us to bring in the light, and help us keep our spirits up.

Peacefulness

image

The noise around us all the time creates a disharmony in our bodies.  Some of the noise is silent to our ears, yet continues to bombard us.  If you are at work, there is a constant hum from your computer, your desk phone, your cell phone, the ventilation system, the heaters or fans, the sound of the people around you, the radio, if it is on.  We have learned to adjust to this noise and we cope.

Every once in a while, you need to refresh your body and go where there is not any constant man-made noise.  Going to a park or out into the country will refresh you, and ease the stress in your life.

Many blessings.

Snow

image
Snow is a reminder that what we do each day does nothing to change or to stop the course of the natural world.  Nature has a rhythm of its own that pays no attention to people.  Nature has a flow to it that the animals, birds, insects, reptiles, marine life, and plants and trees attune to and live in harmony with.
The relationship of the natural world is always there to teach us to be in the flow.  As you move in the flow, life seems simpler.
Many blessings.

What is Freedom?

image

Here is a different thought on happiness and freedom.  One view of freedom is that being aware and living in the moment will bring you more freedom, and thus a sense of peace and contentment, that you need not pursue "Happiness" as it is always present.

Many Blessings.

No Need For Temples

imagePicture of the Dali Lama from http://www.joenolan.com/2008/10/no-mas-for-dalai-lama.html

This is my simple religion.  There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy.  Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness.  Dalai Lama, 1935 - -now.

I saw this on a quote page as I was scrolling through web sites.  This is the same philosophy that the indigenous people and their Shaman, Medicine Woman/Man, Wiseones, Mystics, etc. use around the world.  Indeed, there is no need for temples. We are all connected to Creator and vice-versa.  We are connected with everything in creation, if only we can find a way to hear or see or feel or remember.

As we get caught up in the drama around us, we forget to look inside for the answers.  For thousands of years, the teaching has been to look outward.

If you look around, does it seem to you that the world is getting kinder?  Does it also seem that more and more people are moving away from the old fashioned religion?  Yes, many of the individual church congregations are creating their own philosophy for their church and the people.  It includes new ways of doing things and bringing energy healing into the church.  It is perfect for this time.

May kindness guide your day!

Many blessings.
