Angels Speak - On Trying Too Hard

 

Sometimes, it is just in our nature to try to hard.  We are like the Beavers that constantly try to dam up the raging river.  We do the same thing over and over and there are not any results that we can see.  Like the Beaver, we do make changes happen, even if they are not apparent to us.  We see the changes around us and judge them by our standard which we believe is failure.  So, everyone else is a success! 

It is not so.  No one is more or less successful.  It is the measuring stick that says someone is successful because they have more money.  What we do not see is that they may be in a deficit position for kindness and compassion.  Or, they may be in a deficit in “human-ness”.  We do not move forward to any of the challenges ahead with lots of money.
